Talkback switches?

Hey guys.

I have had some problems getting the talkback switch to work on the Control 24.

I'm using a Roland sustain pedal. I'm assuming that this won't work.

Does someone have some examples of which switches work, and which ones
don't?

I'm not sure what kind of pedal I have setup on mine, I can't remember, but I had to go into the option and reverse the polarity of the switch to get it to work. You do this in the control 24 option menu. If you can't figure it out post again and I'll go back in and look at my settings for a play-by-play list of what to do.

Hello there.

I have tried reversing the polarity on both jacks to no avail.

Any more idea on switches, or are the jacks possibly shorted or something?

It sounds like you know what you're doing so forgive me if this is too basic.

You might want to make sure the talk back light is selected instead of play or record.

The process I used was:

Plugged the pedal into the first plug.

Went into utility\GPI's

Pressed GPI 1

selected talkback, so the light under talkback is solid (play and record should be flashing)

then reversed the polarity

I think you have to exit out of all the menus for the change to take effect.
