B-Stock Carbon 24-bit vs 32-bit

I purchased my b-stock carbon and it was not an issue. It's a 32bit.. Got it thru Alto.



My used Carbon was a bit of a pain but I survived.


The original owner ghosted me in the middle of the transfer process. I even filled out all the paperwork for him to sign etc. Super annoying!

Anyway, I already had a perpetual license and I knew I wasn't getting the PT license with the carbon. So not really a huge deal I just wish I could have it show up in "My Products".

Seems you have two things to get answered
#1 If remember correctly the initial offering on the full price Carbons was either a year extension of an existing license OR the optional "parachute" but not both ?

#2 Eventually Avid changed and decided to simply offer 1 year of Perpetual PT Ultimate which is renewable (but at the Ultimate renew price ) But wether they will honor that on a B Stock is the question

Yeah, I’m checking with Sweetwater since the sale includes an Ultimate license. Will report back!

Yes do so And I would also contact Avid customer support
Because as far as that being "part of sale" It looks to me like the Features section of that Sweetwater B stock page is actually just the boiler plate from the normal 32 bit Carbon page

Yes, I have a case open with Avid (Case : 04737529) and Sweetwater has reached out to their Avid contact. Day 2 and counting … hope this gets sorted soon.

Hey great and good luck. I still have Ultimate but honestly not sure if I really utilize anything in it beyond what PT Studio offers

Yeah, will have to see if I actually need any of the Ultimate features.

I just received the new license in my account so I have until June to decide if I want to move to Ultimate or renew Studio.

I spent some time setting up templates with effects and headphone mixes. Man, this thing is fun and sounds great!
