512 buffer size not working in cubase.

I have an Mbox 2 that i use with Cubase. All the other buffer options are working but i am not able to get an output with the buffer size at 512 samples. I can get it to work under protools. Also, i am able to get 512 samples working in cubase with the onboard soundcard.

Is anybody else facing this problem. Is there a solution? I have installed both protools and cubase multiple times.
