looking for specs with intel i7 processor
Hi all,
Im interested in building a comp with the i7. it seems like this processor performs quite well with pro tools. has anyone posted full specs for a machine with the i7? If so could someone please provide me with a link? Thanks.

There's a few pointers to that very subject here...the motherboard of choice seems to be the ASUS P6T, with the X58 chipset. I can think of at least one person reporting real success with it. GO FOR IT!!!! And let us know how it goes. (Probably do this myself soon....)

Also, get fast memory with the lowest latency you can afford. Audio recording likes low latency memory. DDR3 is improving but some still available has less than perfect latency specs.
