Default Trying to install PT\'s HD 7.4cs3 update

I am trying to install the HD 7.4cs3 update but it continually says "Digidesign Pro Tools HD 7.4cs3 requires the presence of Digidesign Pro Tools HD 7.4" which in fact is already there (7.4cs2). So what am I missing?

Have you possibly moved the Pro Tools application or Digidesign folder from it's original install location?

Nope. The Digidesign Folder is in the root directory of the Applications Folder inside of which is the ProTools Folder inside of which is the ProTools 7.4cs2 Application. I believe this is the proper location as done by the original installer?

Wondering if it might be a "permissions thing" I did repair permissions (did not fix the problem) then I checked the ownership of the Applications Folder and it is "System" set for "Read and Write". Is this correct?

Also, this is NOT an Intel Mac .... could that be the problem?

FIGURED IT OUT .....

I had changed the name of the Application to ProTools 7.4cs2 for easy version identification. THAT WAS THE PROBLEM. As soon as I changed the name back to ProTools HD the update worked.
