Error -6093
I created a session that cannot playback properly, regardless of the size or number of plug-ins.
I am using PT LE 8.0.1 (downloaded most current version today) with a 003 Rack+ Factory. My computer is a Mac Pro 1.1 with a Bus Speed of 1.33 GHz. I am using the most current version of Leopard (not snow leopoard). Processor = 2 X 3 GHz duel core Intel Xeon, Memory = 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 FB-DIMM MacIntosh HD. The error message I am getting whenever I play any session I create is: "The operating system held off interrupts for too long. If this occurs frequently, try increasing the "H/W buffer size" in the playback engine panel (-6093). I increased the buffer size to the max (beyond 512) - didn't fix the problem. I changed my number of processors from 4 to 1 - didn't fix the problem. I then changed it to 2 - didn't fix the problem. Anyone find a solution to this ? Thx. |

Re: Error -6093
Have you done any of the other steps in the General Troubleshooting thread yet?
What type of drive are you using for recording/playback? Are all your plug-ins compatible? |

Re: Error -6093
Thanks for your posting. I was able to solve the problem by doing the following: 1. Changing the Firewire connection from my 003 Rack + from the front of the Mac Pro to the back and 2. Starting the 002 Rack + only after launching Pro Tools 8 LE. Thanks.
