Default How to edit midi controller data

I've recorded some knob movements on my Nordlead and need to figure out how to edit them. What is the easiest way to determine which cc # corresponds to each parameter? Anyone know of a list?

Hi Dopamine,

Unfortunately, every synth is different due to the unique features/parameters each synth offers. Thankfully, they all appear to agree on the controlers Volume and Pan, (although tell that to my Lexicon MPX 500 effects box! - DIGI CAN WE PLEASE RENAME CONTROLLERS, PLEASE!!! Some folow the GM 'standard' (eg. Filter Cutoff = CC74, Resonance = CC71), such as Roland and Yamaha, whereas other synths have their own system, such as E-mu and Access.

Some synths allow you to display the CC# on the LCD that each knob/slider is sending. Check your Nord Lead menu options, or ask one of the Nord Lead user-groups for some advice.

Phil

Just record a knob movement and then look at the event list in PT.
