Default S6 configuration

Hi all,
I was reading on avid website that m40 starting configuration costs around 43.00$ but on some online stores and websites the price is around 61.00$. So what is the starting configuration described in this page? http://www.avid.com/US/press-room/Avid-Unveils-S6
Could anybody give me such info? Thanks!

Those are VK prices but I don't see that they're way over priced. About what everyone else is selling stuff for.

And where in the post you're responding to do you see M40 for $43K?

You never made it clear you were responding to the first post in this thread because the comment you made about the VK prices was in the second post.

I don't ever go to Gearslutz. Too much noise. But like I said VK isn't any higher than other vendors (other than eBay dealers) that carry the same gear. They just happen to carry higher end gear than places like Sweetwater or Musician's Friend or AMS with concomitantly higher prices than your average piece of Behringer crud.

Vintage King, and any authorized dealer, will all post the same prices, because they all have to follow Avid's MAP rule (Minimum Advertised Price) which applies to most every product in Avid's lineup (the Eleven Rack seems to be an exception). Most dealers can and will sell it for less if you contact them, but they're not allowed to advertise it that way.

It was in the link the op had to an Avid page about the S6. In case you missed it here it is again: http://www.avid.com/US/press-room/Avid-Unveils-S6

Look under Availability and Pricing paragraph.
