Default Best tuning programs for 10HDX?

I'm about to go up from 7.4 to 10HDX and am looking at getting Melodyne and AT, is anyone having issues running either? Other option? Which versions? I'm Mac/Mountain Lion.

I always use Waves Tune. It is the most transparent to my ears.

P.S.
Sweetwater have a good deal on it right now at $99 for native.

Running Autotune Evo on Pro Tools 10 Native here. No issues.

Waves Tune here. I like Melodyne as well. Antares does run well, but it's not my first choice.

All three run fine with the HDX card, but they are all native.

I have read issues with Melodyne bogging down Pro Tools, but I have yet to have that happen and the program is just so sick... way better than Tune or Tune LT (I have both of those too)...

One thing about Tune and Tune LT is sometimes selecting a large (long) clip can have artifacts or errors on processing. I usually use it on shorter pieces like a verse or a chorus (not an entire vocal track clip in a 4 min song)...

I've been on melodyne for years and love the stand alone best with the big screen. Does the new Melodyne came as a stand alone and work or is it just the plugin version?

The plugin version of Melodyne absolutely makes the most sense workflow wise. It sounds the best, compared to the competition, and integrates into Pro Tools in a seamless fashion.

Clearly you are deaf sir tweakhead... ;-). JOKING!

My opinion only: I like waves tune for quick audio suite fixes (like quickly tuning up a pile of bg vocals), and it sometimes tracks things that nothing else will (live vocals with a lot of stage bleed), but to my ear Melodyne generally does the most musical job of tuning a vocal without making it sound like a robot... Honestly, I have all three of the main tuners (Melodyne, waves tune, and auto tune), and find that I really use all of them for specific tasks depending on workflow and the particular problems that a track has. If I had to live with only one, I guess it would be Melodyne, but I like and use them all.

Best,
Rich
