Default Need Pro Tools HD 8 for Mac

Need Pro Tools HD 8 for Mac

I bought a back up license for pt8 hd and had temporary access to download the software from the sellers digi account....but when i try to access the softsynths, the sounds are not available, maybe something went wrong while downloading. and now i can't get in contact wit the person that i bought the license from. can anybody help....i just want to download the software again, PT hd 8 for mac. how can i do that

Back up license is just that. A backup for the full license you own. It is not a resellable unit. It is for emergency access to your PT system if your iLok dies with your main license.

I still don't understand why people buy used versions of the current pro tools software. If it's something older that's no longer available, sure... the only way to buy it is used. But for the current software why would you want to buy a used copy when you know you can buy one that will be guaranteed to be everything you need from the digistore?
