sblive?
I just bought a Dell Dimension8100 P4 1.7gh 250mb ram. I got the two disk drives. I've done everything that the pro tools free guide said to do. including setting the 'sblive value' sound card to 4800 sample rate. The only thing that I havn't done is to set the hard drives to dma control( not an option here ). It will not record at anything faster than 8192 samples (h/w buffer size )and even then I often get the 9092 error( operating system held off interupts too long ). Does anyone have any suggestions?
