Default Can I control my 11R from two midi contollers?

One is Pro Tools and the other would be a Behringer midi controller. Right now my rig is controlled from PT midi sequencer, but I would like to have parallel control from a pedalboard. Can I merge two midi signal into one and feed this to 11R?

Sure. Does the FCB-1010 have a MIDI input and a MIDI thru output? If it does, just run the PT MIDI out to the FCB's MIDI in, and the FCB's MIDI thru to the 11R's MIDI in.

You may have some glitches with the MIDI thru on the FCB unless you have the UNO ROM.

or if your other midi device can be plugged in via USB, that would work too. I plug in a control board and keyboard with fader controls via USB, to control PT, and the FCB right into the 11R via Midi cables.

I know this to be true because I found out the hard way that the GR-20 and the 11R share some MIDI CC messages. I ran the GR in to the FCB1010 and then from there to the 11R and when I used the patch change buttons on the GK pickup it changed the GR20 and 11R patches. A serious WTF!?!?!? moment until I realized what was happening.

just make sure each devices are receiving on a different channel, and they won't get confused. Of course your controller has to be able to send multiple messages on different channels as well. With this you can control many devices with ONE controller. But yeah, with MIDI thru you can use multiple controllers with the 11R.
