Why was a 64 bit Firmware Updater Never Released?

Perhaps that paragraph should be taken out of the FAQ for the 1.0.3 updater as some have been confused by it and change it to, "Just use the 32 bit updater" Again, not "nit picking" just wondering why it hasnt showed up for 3 months now. Maybe its a sign they are so busy with Firmware 2.0......
