Exclamation ''not enough RAM''

Hi,
i just bought the fast track that includes pro tools m powered essential.
when i try to install pro tools, it tells me ''Not enough RAM. Pro Tools M-Powered Essential requires a minimum of 1024 megabytes of total system RAM. This machine has only 980744 kb of RAM.''
When i go into the control panel to see, under system, how much RAM my machine has, it tells me 1,00 Gb!
so, do i have to delete some stuff to get more RAM ? (which i really don't know how)

i really don't know what to do.
please, can anyone help me!?

Default Re: ''not enough RAM''

you cant delete stuff to get more ram. You delete stuff to free up space on a hard drive. To get more ram, you buy more ram and install it.

Even though you do have 1GB installed, you have integrated graphics, that is holding 64MB of your ram, so you only have 960MB available for use.

Cant you still install even though you get that warning? Some using PT LE said they got that warning, but they could still install and use PT. So if you can still install, try it out.
