Default Mc mix not powering up :(

Hi

my mc mix will not power up after I changed location.
Unit didn't fall nor anything.

Power suppy will blink but not stay lit.
All cables are well pluged in and made sure the ac cable is well connected with the power supply.
I also checked with another ac cable but same thing.
Also tried different power sockets but same.

The mc mix will not light up at all.
I tried with and without the etheret cable.

Any ideas?

Thanks

It could be the power supply is faulty.

These are available from Sweetwater. Give them a call and ask for a Euphonix power adapter.

Worst case scenario the unit has gone bad. Lets hope not.
I would log this with MyEuphonix support if that is the case.

thx thats what i did.

they logged the problem and transfered me to tech support and proceeded to listen to smooth jazz for the longest time... then hanged up.
(smooth jazz for music store?!!! )

ill call again. but i also think is the power supply. maybe i can get a replacement in radio shack with the same specs.

btw.. i also got the same issue with a golden age pre. the wierd thing about it is that both units where connected to the same power strip and supply than other gear (higher end AND lower end) so its wierd that a surge or power problem only affected only those 2 units and the others didnt. but who knows, ill troubleshoot the power supply 1st.

(i also tried different outlets and ac chords. )

damn. that mx mix power supply is priceyy1!!

i searched for 15v 60w 3.8a and seems to be a common laptop PSU, the problem is i dont know the barrel size. most are 6mm or 5mm.
$50+shipping seems a bit much to just "see" if its the psu.

anyone know the barrel size of the barrel (little connector) of the mc mix or a good and inexpensive replacment?

Not to rain on your complaint parade.. but...

You bought a $1000 USD controller, and cannot afford to maintain it properly with a $50 USD factory power supply replacement?

Hello?
