OMF import problem...
Working with an editor in FCP and trying to do a small fix using an omf file but the omf will NOT import into protools; it detects it as an omf file but you try to import it and it does nothing. Not getting any error message, just doesn't import. Any ideas?

Do you have DigiTranslator installed? PT will not open OMF files without it. Here is the link:
http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?...=4873&mkt=ICON The only other option without spending $500 is to open the OMF in Logic or some other program that will read OMF files and convert it to audio, and then import the audio into PT.
