Default Window Resize/Position

In Pro Tools 7 I can't seem to save window size/placement. Not only does the mix and edit windows not stay the size they were when saved but now that I have resized the main pt7 window so I could look at a text script while recording, I now get pt7 starting up with a very small window size. I tried maximizing and saving but it still starts up small now.

Help please.

Glidej,
Welcome to the DUC..
No, you don't maximize ! While in the restore down state, just stretch it across your monitor/s.
Same with the edit/mix windows inside it. Save session. It should re-open next time with these settings.
good luck,

There's a bit of a bug with version 7 and this issue. Here's a solution for you:
Quote:
On a dual screen setup stretch the window as you like it to be (I usually stretch so the edges are not visible) and close ProTools like this(!):
On taskbar right-click the PT7 bar and choose Close from there. Start PT7 again and it is stretched over both screens!! AND it remembers YOUR stretch settings, if you've set the edges not to be visible it will be the same next time you launch PT!
Taken from this thread (thanks to GeneOuse for the fix!)
