Update 11R firmware on Win 7 X64?

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to update my eleven rack firmware with Windows 7 x64?

When I tried the updater claimed that the drivers were not installed. However they are installed and pro-tools was able to communicate with the unit.

Unfortunately I only own a Windows machine with the 64 bit os and and old ppc mac with OSX 10.3 (which as least for protools is not supported anymore).

Yes it works. The button is grayed out, but you can still click it and it will upgrade your firmware.

The updater works just fine in W7 64 bit. Go ahead and click the grayed out button.

We will also be releasing a version for Windows 7 64-bit shortly. For those on that platform, you can use the 32-bit version for now. Just be aware that the 'Update' button will look grayed out and the device will appear to be offline...just hit 'Update' anyway and it will work fine.

Unfortunate though that avid did not mention this in the release notes bundled with the updater.
