Default PT 6.0 Early Adopters - Happy?

OK...it looks like PT6 is stable and now all the primary plugs seem to be ported. Are you happy with the upgrade?

We're just starting to use it here. One engineer in the studio refuses to even look at OSX... but we'll see. I highly recommend installing PT6 and OSX on a seperate internal drive. It makes switching between PT5 and PT6 much easier.

Extremely.

I held out with my 9600/PT5/MIX for as long as I could and just got a new computer and PT6 to use with my old MIX hardware. Installed it in a day, and started a new project.

Quantum leap . . .

I'm sure some people have some legitimate gripes, depends on what you do, but I am lovin' it

I am very happy. I had been using Logic for MIDI but the implimentation of MIDI in OSX and its native use by PT6 makes working with MIDI very usable. I also like the interface. I seem to be having a lot less eye fatigue which may or may not have to do with anything. It does seem softer though. My .02

just started using pt6. so far so good...real stable...still need plugs so i don't need to switch between 6 and 5. no problem doing that.the only thing i see is the midi...if you use a lot of sound modules not having patch names is a real bummer. also updating bombfactory through the ilok web page is a real hassle...took forever and pace still thinks they are demos on the website. Great stuff...Please keep it coming. I am working with 99% analog situations so my current system seems great - HD3 on Dual 500G4 with 9.2 and protools 5.3. I am currently thinking of waiting until 6.1 with plug-in delay compensation hopefully accounted for to upgrade.

We're using it right now on a 96 piece scoring date, it's been VERY stable.

I really like it. It has been very stable, all the plugs work fine. I have only done one session with it but had no problems. I love the look and feel, and Control 24 has worked without flaw with it. I am still waiting for things like Autotune, but have been demoing the Waves plugs and they seem very good. They also now don't make PT take an eternity to start!

Overall - high marks!

I love it! Especially, since almost all of my plugins have made it to OSX (Waves, Mcdsp,indigo,BF--just Duy and Spectrasonics to go and have a preorder in for the Mach5)

I like the interface (softer, easier on the eyes). I have a new dual, so it's OSX or nothing for me. Great job, Digi. I'm sure, later in the year, there will be an update with even more features.
