Default How Do I Do a Fade?

Have a session. Need to do a fade for either CD or MP3 transfer. Tried doing the fade using the automix but when I transfer to an MP3, the whole song is still there. Anyone help? Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by that.

Are you using a master fader? You can automate the volume on a master fader to achieve fade outs.

Also what method are you using to "transfer to mp3"?

I was confused too.

If you want to do a fadeout at the end of a song, you can use automation on the master fader as spk suggests, or you can select your "all group", select the last 20 2nds of audio or so and hit ctl + f, and do a fade.

by "transfer to mp3" you mean bouncing to disc and converting to mp3, right?

Yeah bounce and convert to MP3. I used the mix automation, playback faeds but the finished MP3 doesn't. Hmmmmm....I think my 90-day free tech support just went.
