Default Protools 10 trial to purchased license question

I'm finally about to upgrade from 8 LE to 10 native. However, I'd like to use the trial for a few weeks first. Are there any drawbacks or issues going from the trial version to a licensed version? Any bugs or problems making the switch? I'm assuming it's the exact same thing and is a simple licensing step but I've heard of weirder issues.

Thanks!

There is no difference and you won't need to uninstall/reinstall PT10. Your Ilok license is the only thing that will change.

Be aware that for best results, even with the trial, it's best to do a complete uninstall of your existing PT 8, before installing 10. Also be aware that in 10, the virtual instruments are a separate download and install.

Thanks! Great advice. I actually just installed Windows 8 from XP so I have absolutely nothing on my computer yet...can't get any cleaner than that.

Yes indeed^^^^and I'll go you one better; either save a drive image BEFORE you remove LE and install 10, or clone your system drive, install the clone and put 10 on that. The idea being to make it easy to revert if you need/want to.
