Default Application Manager black screen

Hello,

I have a problem with the Application Manager: the application goes black when I launch it.

At the beginning the app was still on "Connecting", so I have searched and read about this issue on the forum, uninstalled Avid Application Manager, updated my GPU, reinstalled the app, and now it does not even try to connect but just goes black.

I followed the steps about the Application Manager troubleshooting that I found on your website (on the link bellow) but the app is still black. I have to note that the app says that an update is available, even if I have downloaded the last version of the App Manager Setup.

http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/e...roubleshooting

The Application Manager was fine the last time I used Pro Tools, about two months ago.

My setup:
- Windows 7 - 64 bits
- Intel Core i7-2630QM
- 8 GB RAM
- Nvidia GeForce GT 540M
- Directx 11
- OpenGL 3.1

Thanks in advance for the help :v

If it was me, I'd just uninstall it or stop it from starting.

Yeah that's what I did, I stopped it from starting and repaired Pro Tools.

Now I can launch Pro Tools.

Thanks !

One question; how many monitor screens are you running. When I installed a new GeForce 750 ti graphics card and had 3 screens connected, both the PT App Manager and Waves Central would open as black boxes. Unplugging 1 of the 3 screens would allow them to both open normally on Windows 7. Now with Windows 10, all is fine here.

I guess I would just uninstall the Avid Application Manager unless there is some reason you really need it(I have done this for every version that has it) It must be some odd graphics thing
