Unchange the I/O setup ?
I got this problem that drives me insane !
Whenver I load a project received from clients, with different I/O setup, they messed up my I/O. And REMAINS. Meaning, that if I load an old project (of mine), the I/O - busses, are crazy. It seems to keep the "client" I/O, but if I load MY PROJECTS, it doesn't. How can I LOCK my I/O, Bus list , that could not be changed by some other projects? Every time I load or make a new project, after loading a client project, that has different outpus/inputs/busses , my project DOESN'T LOAD MY OLD SETUP and it's messed up with the I/O that remain from the client project setup.

Re: Unchange the I/O setup ?
It is NOT checked.
Because I DON'T WANT the I/O to be changed. So, I must check it so the I/O to be changed? And this way, when I save the session, it will contain the I/O I used, and loading it, will restore the I/O used in the project?

Re: Unchange the I/O setup ?
good question!!
i think there's no way to leave the own i/o setup unchanged - i tried several things - if anyone knows how to do that, please tell us!

Re: Unchange the I/O setup ?
You could import session data into your template and not take the I/O assignments from the client sessions. If you need to match session start times, just go to import and check the start time of origin session in the report window, cancel and set your session start. Then go back to session import and take the tracks, tempo map etc but not the inputs, outputs and buses. Might be psychosomatic but I find my sessions behave better this way as well.
