Default Re: Using a computer monitor for video?

What are you guys using for checking sync? It appears Pharoah Audio (Syncheck 3) is out of business. Does anyone use Catchin' Sync from Quiet Art?

Thanks

Sync-One2 is the hardware device that filled the market gap after Syncheck stopped being made:

As far as the apps go, I haven't tried them. Some purists have pointed out that the phones don't have the aural or visual resolution to do what Sync-One2 or Syncheck do, but I have no firsthand experience. Maybe they're fine.

I've heard of TV stations taking high-frame rate cameras and shooting their own screens to figure out these offsets. Good luck!

Catchin Sync works fine.
I also have an old syncheck and the results are the same.
I don't use the Syncheck any more much, easier to have the app on your phone.
