16. Polarity switch

In your defense, I did search a number of "feature request" threads that have been addressed. So I apologize.

Although I still can't find the one about a darker GUI.

This thread was especially interesting and obsolete:

Don't forget:

17. User-definable DEFAULT FADE IN/OUT length... for adding fades that are xxx ms to all selected regions (add it to the "Default Fade Settings" in the Preferences window)
18. Tab-To-Transient user-definable threshold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am not sure I understand by 17? Doesn't the create fade dialog default from the last time it is used?
18 is a good one!

18 has a perfectly good workaround.

1. Select the entire track.
2. Open Beat Detective and make cuts at all the hits that you want. Add and Delete if necessary.
3. Turn "tab to transient" off and it will tab from region to region now.

Cheers

I don't understand 17 either.

This workaround sort of works, don't know if you're aware of it

Turn on Elastic Audio (I use poly)
Select all regions on track
Open up Elastic properties (alt - numericpad 5)
Adjust Threshold to value other than 100%

Now the tab will only move to where the analysis markers are.

20. Insertion follow Playback shortcut 'N' to a key combination
21. alt + apple + c shortcut for 'create click track'
22. Standard 'Bounces' folder in the session folder

Sounds like you need a copy of quickeys. It really is great once you get used to it and will save loads of time on beat detective. http://startly.com/products/quickeys/mac/4/

That does sound interesting indeed.

I did create a shortcut for Create Click Track through the Finder itself (which does work well) but I do not want to use an external app to arrange these things, I would love these to be integrated in the PT software.

For Bounce To Disk presets, you should be able to create and save them, as well as some standard ones (audio CD, broadcast, mp3 high quality, DVD etc)

But above all: the looping bug in the Workspace browser should be fixed!

Thanks for the list - and for everyone who has contributed suggestions.

I know there are lots of places where people can post their opinions about features - but sometimes going direct to someone you know has the experience and professionalism is the best way to get to the 'meat'.

I periodically poll certain users (either here or via email directly) about which features they want, then follow up with product management to get as many of the good ones implemented as possible.

I'm also getting more involved further up in the decision making process, so your comments are extremely valuable.

Been wanting this for years! If it's possible, that would be a great addition.
