PT 10 and mutetone

check the new version. i was getting the same problem, emailed Salvator from Tritone Digital, and in a weekend (Excellent support!!!), he posted a new version of Mutetone. Or you can try to disable (not bypass) the plug-in before removing it. Sorry for bad english.

Anyone still have this problem? I still get the same problem as above when I deinstantiate Mute-Tone. This particular system is running Pro Tools 10.3.2, MuteTone 1.0.2, OS X Lion 10.7.5, UA Apollo. If I keep it running, the plug-in runs fine but if I deinstantiate it as outlined by propower above, instant Pro Tools crash/freeze.

Still happened to me and I as well was in contact with the author and he compiled a new version for me ...

The workaround is to inactivate the plugin before removing it.

Waiting around for input monitoring in the software and a workable plugin, I simply upped my hardware so I don't worry about it anymore. Not a solution for all, I know.

MuteTone author did say he'd hoped the AAX version would solve all problems but I don't know when that would be available/released.

BTW, figured I should test before posting this and it still hangs ProTools when removing the plugin.

Another thing you need to know if you use a controller, MT requires to be the only device in the controller setup. So you can't use both.
