Default What is the setting to record from cursor?
I'm having a "senior moment". What is the setting to continue recording from where I've stopped the cursor (instead of automatically recording over my take from the beginning)?

Go up to Setup, then click Preferences. Within Preferences, go to the Operation tab and check the first box under "Transport" that says, "Timeline Insertion/Play Start Marker Follows Playback"

Then you should be good to go!

Thank you Paul, that's exactly it. Kind of embarrassed about an easy one like that but I just couldn't remember, even after looking right at that check box.
