Mc control and S 5

got a job coming up with a system 5 - not overly familiar with it


suspect I could set some quick keys on the touch screen.. ( I have quick keys in my mac - but they dont have it,, gonna feel glacial editing on it!! )

any similiarity at all to say MC Control?

commands accessible via Eucon ?

I could jus ignore it mostly - but seems a bit of a shame,,

anyone seen any good tutorials ?

We would need to know more about the console you will be working on in order to answer your questions. Is this a System-5 console, or a S5MC?
If it is a System-5, does it have "Hybrid" functionality, or is it a "Fusion" console?

sorry taken a while to get answers- they tell me its a fusion.

think it has a touch screen..

in which case I just want to get a bunch of window sets easily triggered..

any good vids on setting up that sort of thing?

i was trawling thru Eucon stuff. the menu screens are a bit slow on first impression.

where can I take a look at the full scope of Eucon with protools?

I noticed - some other options for setting user keys - but didnt explore..

( keys eucon and something else.. )

I managed to make a key to mute unmute - automation follows edit

didnt find a key to switch directly between my 2 fave tools. - ie time stretch and standard edge trim - always found having to press the same button 3 times in a row frustrating
