Eucon with v-control pro ipad2 no vu levels showing !

WOW! I had been searching for the last 4 days trying to find a way to get my Pro Tools session meters to show up on my newly installed Yamaha DM2000. Finally did a search for "HUI and Pro Tools meters" and found this thread. Well, I saw what Brandonx1 and pneyrinck wrote, in the user group so I went to Setup>Peripherals>Ethernet Controllers and "Unchecked" "Enable Eucon" and wholla, all the meters in my Pro Tools session now show up on my Yamaha DM2000 Meter Bridge! I can always "Enable Eucon" if I want to use my Artist Transport when I'm tracking and editing. I really don't use it when I'm mixing anyway.

Have you managed to control plugins with dm2000? If I am on tracks 1-8 and then select something higher i can not attention tracks 1-8 again.

I haven't tried accessing plugins in any detail as you mentioned. I can try that and let you know. So, are you saying if you open a plugin on channel-1 and then bank to say track 10 you lose your plugin view on the screen of the DM2000?

Yes, I can not get back to the first bank of 8 if I focus a plugin on another bank.

Cause NeyRinck says it's a hui poblem with PT !

It's to do with metering. Hui only supports up to stereo metering. Eucon supports multi channel (5.1, 7.1) metering. The two can't co exist unless the hui protocol is updated. The same applies to Diginet (Icon, C24, ProControl, etc).
