Default How do I duplicate properly?

Hi!

When I duplicate a bar, sometimes the length of the duplicate i make falls short of the end of the bar, or goes too far over the end of the bar.. Why does this occur?

To make the duplicate, I highlight the bar (or bars) and press Command+D..

i'm running PT9 on a MacBook Pro. However this has often happened since i started with PT7 on windows

thankyou

Are you in grid or slip mode when selecting bar?

Don't Select The Region, Select The Bar (Drag From 1.1.000 To 2.1.000 In Grid) .... Then Duplicate....

What Fabdickson means is to select a fixed number of beats on the grid using the selector tool. By doing this, you'll ensure the audio will duplicate in time with the grid. If the audio region boundaries falls slightly before or after a gridline, you may find that when you duplicate it, the audio will go out of time.

Hope this helps.
