Yes, but don't duplicate the tracks, play it twice or combine multiple takes.
Try combining the mics, the characteristics are very different and can compliment each other. Personally i do not like the SM57 on acoustic guitars because to my ears it sounds like a badly setup compressor, others will disagree. Try it and see what works for you.

Is there maybe not a way to send a channel one to channel2?
BTW, how about the new budget line by AKG? Or a pair of NT5 by Rode? AND-thx! PS BTW, before I forget - the best sound some recording engineer mad of me has been made on a mic called Gefell ore something similar |
