New to Mac, can someone tell me about \"Classic\"
mode?
My G4 Mac is constantly crashing with my new PTLE7.0. I was browsing the setup page and found this: " - In System Preferences > Classic > Start/Stop tab, Uncheck Start Classic when you log in. Pro Tools 6 and higher are not supported when Classic Mode is running." When I go to System Preferences, I see nothing called classic mode and I have Tiger installed. Any thoughts? |

Re: New to Mac, can someone tell me about \"Classic\"
Classic mode was the way to run old OS9 applications on top of OSX. If you don't have an OS9 system folder on your computer, then you don't have to worry about the "Classic" System Preference control panel.
Read the "General Setup & Troubleshooting" thread for help with your crashing problems. |
