I agree. The target customer base isn't too clear to me. Most of the Pro Tolls users that need that level of control surface are probably HD users, which means they have already purchased audio I/O.

Honestly, I'd pay $5k for it in a heartbeat, but instead of audio I/O, I'd want to see those knobs light up (like the S6) and a bank of soft keys added to one side. Hell, I'd pay up to $10k. If they can add compatibility for the S6 meter bridge screens.

Okay, so I really just want a smaller S6 that costs $10k.

if you have HD, it doesn't control monitors? I wanted to make the jump from stereo to surround, but looks like I'll need a monitor controller and also some soft keys.

Guess I'll stick with an Artist Control/Mix/Transport setup. cheaper and has a panner.
