Digi 002 ASIO driver..?
Just curious- I have Reason 2.0 on both my Mac and PC, and I have a SoundBlaster card in my PC, but it has an ASIO driver. I noticed the 002 (which is connected to my 800Mhz TiBook) has a Sound Manager driver- and the Reason manual suggests using an ASIO driver if one is available- which apparently Digi did not include.
The MIDI latency using Reason on my Mac is a good deal worse than my PC, which I don't understand- I get a $200 soundcard on my PC and a $2200 002 connected to the Mac- I figure the 002 shouldn't have latency issues. Does this have to do with the lack of an ASIO driver (if so, can we get one Digi?), or is it the firewire connection? I love my Digi 002, this is really my ONLY issue with it.
