Point being those who know won't talk and thise who talk won't know. Avid releases when they are ready for it.

Huh? Just said 2019.5 was a fiasco so there are at least two of us. Hoping for 2020.3 but saying 2020.4 is more likely than 2020.5

My theory: I already owned Pro Tools before the new support renewal license model, and I switched to the new model immediately. My support plan expiry date is March 30th, and I think the bulk of users must have that date as well (assuming most people who already owned a license at the time they introduced the new licensing model also got on board with the new system immediately).

So assuming that's right, it's gonna drop after March 30th - with the hope that people will either renew to make sure they get it, or that people will want to renew once it drops and they see the features.

And this pattern will repeat as long as there's a big cluster of people with a March 30th renewal date

Well i remain excited for Pro Tools refinements.
However communication to such a forum on a consistent schedule is part of what we pay for imo.
If nothing else have a 2020 thread folder so we know you know what year it is!

Thats all. OP OVER AND OUT

If a train and planned at the station, it is normal to wait for it. Especially with a very expensive paid ticket.

Yea, of course. I like train analogies. Or any moving vehicle analogies

I have been commuting between Tampere and Helsinki for ages. Only 90min train, but when things go south the train may have to wait 30min between two last stations. The same train originates from Oulu, which is about 500km north of Tampere and the business ticket for whole trip costs almost as much as flight ticket.

You can only imagine how creative business men are in swearing when it happens that the fast train they bought expensive ticket for is stuck waiting for city light rail trains moving and bums traveling for free.
