I'm having the same problem too. I've deleted two projects, but can't create any more.

I notice that on my machine it says I have 1/3 projects, but on the 'My Avid Cloud' webpage it shows 3/3. Maybe that's why I can't create more?

Can you open a support case for me please.

I'm now having the Error Posting Project message directly after deleting 2 projects and successfully creating a new one.

Looks like you might be on to something here, maybe the projects are deleted locally but not remotely as created one fine then within minutes it refused to create another new one.

EDIT: Logged into the Avid cloud account and it is saying 3/3 projects used - while locally it says 1/3. No idea what the cure is as yet.

Guess I'll throw my name in the hat too.

I'm having the exact same problem on Windows 8.1 and on OS X 10.10. My windows machine was my primary PC for production, but the posting error didn't start until I started using my PTF on my macbook on the road due to traveling for my job.

SOLUTION

Hi guys, after a day of trying to get this "there was an error posting the project" problem solved I tried the following:

1. Sign in to my AVID account and
2. Go to "MY ACCOUNT> MANAGE MY AVID CLOUD>

3. Upgrade Premium Cloud Storage Plan to 5 projects from the "FREE" 3 projects that we can use.....yeah right....

4. I used my credit card to upgrade (about 11$ (USD)) which is recurring monthly charge (I turned off the AUTO-Renew)

And this solved the problem for me but I will wait and see when after the month that it does not renew if the problem comes back when i am auto-down-graded to "FREE" version

I can now create and delete the projects.

NOTE
Do try to sign out of (1) Pro Tools First & (2) The Avid Applications Manager too and then sign back in.

Hope this helps others
