Need help importing midi files
I have switched over from PC to Mac and am using PT MBox 6.0 I have tried to import old cakewalk sequences using both 1 & 0 file formats and each time I import the midi data into PT the file shows up fine with all the tempo markers, length of track correct etc. it's just that the data in the tracks shows up grayed out and doesn't play. When I record midi directly into PT the data shows up green and plays back. Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be apprecitated.

Re: Need help importing midi files
The notes will be greyed out until you assign the MIDI track to an MIDI output be it an internal routing to an RTAS synth or to an external module...When you're recording new tracks you have them assigned to some sound source to hear what your playing...right
