audio and waves don't match
This is a strange one---couldn't find anything in the search.
FYI, I'm not a trained engineer, just a songwriter thrashing around in P.T.. Cut a vocal last night, then while comping, I noticed 2 or 3 places where the wav forms did not match the audio--- a flat line in the region with strong audio and the opposite, no audio with fat wave form. I've got the tracks done OK but wondered if anyone has ever seen this. |

Re: audio and waves don't match
Not sure why your search did not return any results on this subject as it's been well covered on here. FYI, it has been a known 'bug' in recent versions. Use 'recalculate waveform overviews' from the regions bin.

Re: audio and waves don't match
Yes - you can fix it by going to the regions bin and selecting 'Recalculate Waveform Overviews' from the drop down menu.
