Default UnWrap PlugIn by TC

Hi there,

I am pretty new to Pro Tools TDM and the plug-in thing. I just got a demo licence for the UnWrap tool but I can't find it in Pro Tools in the AudioSuite. Can you tell me exactly how to use it? The unwrap file is in the plug-in folder but it doesn't appear in Pro Tools!?

Thanks a lot!

There isn't an Audiosuite version.

The way i've been using it is to place it across a stereo audio track. The plug in will cause the track to become stereo/5.1.

Hi,

thanks for the quick answer! As I am really new to using ProTools can you describe me a little more in detail what you mean by "placing it across the stereo track"?

Thanks for the help!

You have your music on a stereo audio track.
Select the plug-in as an insert on that track.

As you are this new to Protools it sounds like you need to spend some time with the Protools Reference Guide. It will make all of this very clear.

Hi,

thanks for the answer. The way you just described the use of the plug-in is exactly the way I tried it. But it doesn't appear as a plug-in when I select an insert. There are only the regular plug-ins although the UnWrap.dpm is in the plug-in folder...

But in your first post you spoke of the Audiosuite menu . . . that's not where to look.
Look here.
