Can't title sessions or bounces in PT's

After working for several hours when I try and rename a session or do a bounce and title it, I can't write the title in. I hit the letter key and nothing happens. It only happens in Pro Tools after working for a few hours. The rest of the OS lets me write titles without a problem. I have to quit Pro Tools and restart it again.

Anybody have any idea what causes this?

same here - title fill fails and simultaneously the keyboard shortcut highlight will fail to light, and soon after keyboard shortcuts fail to work. Only answer is quit/reopen. sometimes i restart the whole comp just to zero out everything. I'm hoping 10.3.7 will solve this obvious buffer overrun error, updating this week.

I get it too and Im on the latest version.

os 10.8.4 and PT 10.3.7

i find clicking in the finder anywhere and back allows me to then name things.. but yeah its silly.

Out of curiosity - Do you have kensington trackballs or mouse and or trackball works software installed??

Yes I have a Kensington 4 button track ball and Trackworks. Could that be the problem??

Its been a theory of mine for a while now that potentially some issues are related to that software.
Lets see if anyone else experiencing similar problems also has a the kensington software.
