Default Horrible, Horrible, Skreeching Noise On Drum Track in Sampletank

I'm going to try the great sounding drums again, but this time on midi channel 10. I'm hoping this Is my problem. It was about 3:am, Central here in Houston Texas, when I was starting to really get going. I loaded the acoustic drum set (small room) on to midi channel 3, laid the track, and then when I stopped it, it made a sound that made me think I was about to die; or at least my speakers were. When I woke up this morning I remembered the rule of drums always on midi channel 10, so I'm about to try that. However, I posted this to see if any of you had this experience

Doesn't matter what channel you put the bank on in sampletabk. Channel 10 is for GM modules.....

As for the noise do a search and you'll find it's not a sampletank thing.
Chompers'll tell ya

Go to the IK Multimedia > Sampletank Instruments folder. Now DELETE the XL Edition Instrument List.

See if that helps
