Eucon "Left Edit Control" & "Right Edit Control"
Can someone explain the difference between the "Left Edit Control" and the "Right Edit Control?"
"Right Edit Control" does not work at all. There is no documentation that I can find. I have downloaded every what's new guide I can find, all the Eucon manuals and searched and nothing comes up for either of those. Internet searches also yield nothing for me on this. Re: Eucon "Left Edit Control" & "Right Edit Control"
Unfortunately I can not say if there is any difference between the 2 commands.
Please refer to this page for an image which -hopefully- makes clear that these commands origin from the time that the MCPro was the only machine EuCon worked on: https://www.rspeaudio.com/Articles.asp?ID=283 Please note the "Edit Control Left"- and "Edit Control Right"-zones. I think though that nowadays one can assign "Left Edit Control" to functions which can be changed with the wheel? I'm not sure about this, so forgive me if I'm wrong. This is what "GettingStartedWithEuCon.pdf" tells about "Edit Control Processor" Edit Control processor An edit controller processor contains a jog wheel and jog/shuttle mode switches. Applications are encouraged to support as many functional modes for the jog wheel as possible, such as horizontal and vertical zooming, waveform zooming, trimming of clip head and tail, cross fade length, clip gain, time zooming, scrub, slip, fade in and out, and more. Accordingly, the edit controller processor contains a switch array containing switches to set these modes. By convention, the edit controller processor is named “Edit Control”. Some control surfaces support two physical edit controllers, a left and a right. The application can choose to model both controllers, taking full advantage of these surfaces. In such a case, one editor controller processor is named “Left Edit”, while the other is “Right Edit”. Niek/ Amsterdam.

Re: Eucon "Left Edit Control" & "Right Edit Control"
Thank you for that, I should have thought of that I have one of those sitting 2 feet from me but I hardly ever use it. Very appreciated!
