Some Desktop Advice For A PC With One Hard Drive?
This is a pretty mundane question, but I'm sure you guys could provide some insight. A friend of mine has a Dell Optiplex Computer (512 MB, 2.5 gHz, One 160GB Hard Drive) with One Hard Drive connected to a network. He has recorded many songs with his M-Box set up on this computer, but is constantly running into interrupt errors (-6806 H/W Interrupt).
This pretty much due to the fact that he's using one hard drive. Do you guys know of any ways that I could optimize the computer to work better with his M-Box outside of the normal DMA and Screen Saver settings? Thanks

Re: Some Desktop Advice For A PC With One Hard Drive?
Sure... Add a dedicated drive for audio. Sorry for pointing out the obvious, but as you stated, that seems to be the problem...
Also, you might want to add more RAM, as 512k is the minimum requirement...
