AAE Error 0 Pro tools 2020

Hey all! I am having trouble with the factory plug ins not working in Pro tools 2020.5. This is how the pop-up reads -
"Could not create the TCE plug-in’s factory default file because an AAE error was encountered. AAE error 0 was encountered."

I have tried reinstalling pro tools and all of the products available via Avid, to no avail. If anyone can help, that would be amazing! I have a big project due for college next week.
