DuY Tape / Valve experiences?
anyone have comments on the usability of these plugs? is it more of that phazy-high-end-only-hyped-up that has come from other similar analog/tape/tube emulation plugs? or is really useful for some things (like what).?

Re: DuY Tape / Valve experiences?
I've used DUY Valve on snares and "crunch guitar" with pretty good success. It adds certain types of harmonic distortion based on which setting you're using.

Re: DuY Tape / Valve experiences?
Personally, I use Tape and Valve on nearly everything. Valve almost always on lead vocals, Tape almost always on the Master Bus as well as guitars and sometimes bass. One tip...use the "snare" setting for Valve on everything. Valve can sometimes make things a tad tubby, so be prepared to eq afterwards. Likewise, Tape can squash the transients a bit on a mix, so be careful how hard you hit it. All in all, though, a big thumbs up for Xavier in Spain.
