Default Bi-phase sync

hi,
we recently started to work with projector as bi-phase master. We have sync i/o and dolby DMU working in parallel from the same bi-phase source. i put my start pip to 9 feet according to PT gridlines. when we start printmastering DMU always records it on 8.14-8.15 feet instead of 9. To be on 9 i should be about half frame or a frame behind. We tried to do bi-phase a clock reference and do DMU clock reference - no difference
anybody experienced this?

thanks
Leo
