best vox mike 4 female vox ?
hi there. going to record a female vocalist soon, and was thinking of using a U87. not sure if this is the best choice. Just wanted to know what some of you guys like for this situation. I'll be recording an RnB track. anything in the 1 to 3 grand (Canadian) range is what I'm looking for. thanks, allan.

Re: best vox mike 4 female vox ?
Hey Allan,
Call these guys , they're in Mississauga and ask for Malcolm or Len. They'll be able to give you great advice and rent you a mic or sell it to you. If you want to try one of my Rode's (NT1000 and NTK), send me an email. If I can schedule it, I'll bring them over for you to try. I don't work for Rode, but I really like their products and service. Cheers,
