PTLE XP install problems

Hi,
When i have installed PTLE and the wavedriver in XP i can't select digi001 as the regular soundplayer in the control panel, every time i start PTLE my mouse stops working.....

I tried to reinstall everything many times but with no results.....

anyone?

uninstall it, and remove the digi001 drivers from the device manager, then try installing it.

already tried that, should i change pci slot?

don't install the wave driver - it's dodgy.

ok. tried that but i still can't play files through the media player... what about my mouse problem?? why does my mouse stop working everytime i start PTLE??

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">i was having that problem, with win98, my mouse could either be ps/2 or USB, stuck it in the USB slot, problem solved [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

wave drivers? whats that? i never did any of that?

I just installed the 50 meg file i downloaded and everything works!
