I need a temporary license for Pro Tools 9
Hello !
 I need a temporary license for Pro Tools 9. My Ilok is forwarded to RMA, I need a temporary license for my new Ilok until the RMA is completed. How to achieve this by Avid. Does anyone know how? thanks!

This is probably an iLok issue. If you have a spare iLok, I would call them and see if they can transfer the asset. If you don't have a spare, I would buy one(I have 2 spares at my studio and ZDT for my main iLok).

Last time when i had an issue with a broken ilok,with the ZDT got the licences as 'temporary ones' but as ilok states: Some temporary licenses might not be available, based on the software vendors' technical or business requirements.
...perhaps PT9 falls into that category?

If you call the dealership that supplied Pro Tools 9 for you they should be able to assist you in getting a temporary license. We have arranged this for certain situations...

I contacted ILOK . com and said that only with the ZDT. But I had to have ZDT before my ILOK spoil. Now it's no use hiring the ZDT. It seems I'll have to wait.
