Default PAZ alternative?

I'm sure most of you know why I am interested .... three letter word, starts with a W..

So,
I use PAZ on every mix (RTA mode). Any alternatives out there yet??????

Thanks,
-Lee

Inspector XL is a great meter plug-in . . . it's certainly the best value.

Linear peak and rms, logarithmic, K meters, PPM, for level
Spectrum Analyzer, Strereo analyzer, statistics and alarms.

It's not quite Spectrafoo, but it's a RTAS plug-in that in PT7 can go on outputs and busses.

PAZ is pretty W _ _ _ with 4 letters.

Anyone having problems with inspector and PT 7? Mine isn't working with 7. Was there an update for Ver7?

Inspector XL is superb. Use the K-14 metering mode. Unfortunately, it only works in PT7 in single processor mode. I've sent an email to the company, and they know PT7 compato is on their list. If every owner emailed them, maybe PT7 compato would be a higher priority. At $89, it's a great value - and a better product than PAZ (which I own as well) - because of the RMS metering and superior frequency metering modes. It can be a DSP pig and you may have to up your hardware buffer - but these are tradeoffs that you will accept, as the product is excellent.

Wow, 89$! I wonder how does it compare to analogue peak meters in reality? Does anyone know if it has Ilok authorisation?
